TradesOS, Inc. ("TradesOS", "we", "us", or "our") operates the TradesOS platform, including the web application available at tradesos.com and related services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you are a shop owner, we also collect your business name, phone number, and business address. If you connect Stripe for payments, we receive a Stripe account ID — we never store your card numbers or bank account details.
We store the data you enter into TradesOS: customer records, job details, invoices, notes, team members, and any files you upload. This data belongs to you.
We automatically collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, and referring URLs. We use this to operate, debug, and improve the Service.
We use essential cookies to maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your data to ad networks.
When a customer submits a booking request or quote request through your shop's public page, we collect the information they provide (name, phone, email, address, description). That data is stored and visible only to you, the shop owner.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data to train AI models or share it with third-party advertisers.
We share data only in these limited circumstances:
We use trusted third-party vendors to operate the Service: Supabase (database and auth), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Twilio (SMS), and Vercel (hosting). These vendors are contractually bound to use your data only to provide services to us.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or enforce our Terms.
If TradesOS is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before that happens and give you the option to delete your account.
We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes. Backups may retain data for up to 90 days after deletion.
We protect your data using industry-standard measures: encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, row-level security on our database, and strict access controls. We run rate limiting on all public endpoints and require authentication for all account data.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@tradesos.com.

TradesOS is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
